Common questions

What is a print?
A print is made from an original studio piece. We photograph it in high resolution, match the colour to the original and print with pigment inks, so the texture of petals, leaf veins and the tone of the paper come through.
Prints are made to order in the size you choose. They keep the proportions of the original — nothing is cropped or stretched, so a square mandala gets square sheets.
What paper do you use?
A heavy, matte, acid-free archival paper: it does not yellow with time and holds both deep dark tones and soft pastels. The surface is slightly velvety with no sheen, so the piece does not glare under glass.
Framed prints go behind UV-filtering glass, which keeps the colours longer.
Which size should I choose?
Measure the wall space and compare it with the framed size shown under the image. Above a sofa or a chest of drawers a piece looks balanced at about two thirds of its width; narrow walls, shelves and desks suit smaller sheets.
Switch to the “In a room” tab: the piece is shown to scale with the wall, so the difference between sizes is easy to see. Not sure? Ask us and send a photo of the wall — we will help.
Which frames do you offer?
Wooden frames — natural, whitewashed and black oak, walnut — and slim metal ones in brass, black and silver. Each frame can take a mat: a wide gallery mat, a standard one, or none.
Choose them under “Framing”: the piece on the left and on the room wall updates at once, and so does the price. You can also order an unframed sheet; it ships in a rigid tube.
How long does delivery take, and what does it cost?
Delivery within Russia is on us, and you can also collect your order from the studio.
Originals ship within 2–3 weeks, packed in a rigid box with glass and acid-free paper. Prints are made and framed in 7–10 days. Transit usually takes 3–7 days depending on the city; we email you a tracking number.
